Barnhill House offers one three bedroom flat for self-catering. It is self-
contained within the house which is the centrepiece of Barnhill Estate and is surrounded by three acres of mature lawns and gardens, 200
acres of working farmland, wooded walkways and hills and
it boasts its own private loch called Loch Bowie.
It lies one mile to the north of Milton village and although it offers idyllic
rural surroundings it is convenient for town and country.
The small village of Milton is conveniently located on the outskirts of Dumbarton,
The Ancient Capital of Strathclyde, and has easy access to Loch Lomond
( 8 minutes), to Glasgow Airport (10 minutes), to centre of Glasgow
( 20 minutes), to Edinburgh ( 1 hour), and to all surrounding
places of interest e.g. Helensburgh,Highlands and Islands, the West
Coast, Stirling, Callander ,The Trossachs, Ayr and the Clyde Valley. It is an
ideal location to use as a base for either touring or business.
Within the village there is The Milton Inn which offers both quality food
and evening entertainment all year round.
The apartment sleeps six people and consists of a lounge / dining room, one double
bedroom, two twin bedrooms, galley kitchen, bathroom and entrance utility area.
It is fully central heated and contains all modern conveniences. The kitchen
has electric hobb and oven, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave oven, fridge
and all utensils required to cater for a family of six. The bathroom has a bath
and a shower to cater for individual needs and there is a television in the lounge
and a coin operated telephone for you convenience.
